Its taken me a long time to do this one compared to my usual canvases. I was trying to incorporate the colours from the Rubber Dance Stamp Competition which are vintage white, forget-me-not blue and cinnamon brown into it and I found it quite difficult. The tree was inspired by the twisted willow in our garden which has that interesting kink in the trunk.The background didn't turn out how I wanted either and I redid it quite a few times adding progressively more and more bits. I'm trying to develop a more sophisticated style to my canvases as left to my own creative devices they always seem to come out very garish and childish! This one seems to be no exception to that rule. Oh well, if at first you don't succeed, try, try again! Anyway here it is.
